The way back runs through the shop

Returns & Exchanges

The way back runs through the shop that took your money — here is how it works and what we can still help with.

The Return Belongs to the Shop That Sold It

We do not take payments, so there is nothing here to refund. The pair was bought on a retail network, that network holds the order, and the return, the exchange and the money all go back the same way they came. Nothing on this page needs to be sent to us.

Read the Window Before You Pay

The large retail networks generally allow around 30 days from delivery, and footwear is usually treated generously because size is the whole problem. Generally is not a promise: the exact window is printed on the listing and again in your order, and it can differ when an outside seller ships the pair rather than the network itself. That line is worth ten seconds before you buy.

Starting One

  1. Open your account on the retailer’s site and find the order.
  2. Choose the return or exchange option next to the pair and say what went wrong.
  3. Print the label they generate and hand the parcel over.

The refund goes back to whatever you paid with, on their timetable rather than ours.

Keep Them Indoors First

This is the one thing that decides whether a return is easy or argued about, and it is the same on every retail network: a shoe walked on carpet goes back, a shoe walked on gravel does not. Try them on a clean floor, keep the box and keep the tags until you are sure.

Wrong Size — the Common One

Most footwear returns are a size, not a fault, and a swap is the simplest version to raise. The cheaper move is not needing one: read Sizing & Fit, measure both feet in the evening and compare with the insole length on the product page.

Faulty or Damaged

Photograph it and raise it through the order as soon as you spot it. A separating sole, a blown seam or a strap torn at its anchor is a defect claim rather than a change of mind, and it is handled on better terms than a normal return.

What We Can Do

Not a refund — we never had the money. What we can do is stop the next return happening: send your measurement in millimetres and the model to [email protected] and we will tell you which size we would put you in.
